Seaclose Swimming Successes at the South East Regional Champs

Huge congratulations to the 6 Wightlink sponsored Seaclose swimmers who, following on from their successes at the county championships at the start of the year, qualified and competed at this year’s regional championship.

The competition was extremely tough especially as it is swum over a long course pool however our swimmers excelled achieving 10 personal best times (pb) and 13 top 20 places in their respective age group.

With a special mention to Isobel Muncaster achieving 7^th place in the 400 Individual medley, Nell O’Brien 9^th in 200 Freestyle and Joe Carter (swimming for Portsmouth Northsea SC at this event) 5^th place in the 50 backstroke final.

Isobel, Nell, Lucy and Joe are now looking forward to competing at the Island Games in Guernsey with the rest of the Island Games swimmers.
