We are pleased to announce that the annual Seaclose Awards Evening is going to take place Wednesday 27th February at the Riverside Centre in Newport. Arrive from 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Food will be served (as in previous years) then awards will be given out.
Tickets prices will be £10 for adults and swimmers go free. Any volunteers also go free bit still let Rosie know you wish to attend.
Anyone interested in attending this please email me at rosiegard@ymail.com by 20th Feb so that I can give the venue the numbers for food.
This is a great evening every year so it’ll be good to get as many of you there as possible.

There will be a family fun night at Medina Leisure Centre on Saturday 24th Jun, from 5.15pm to 7.00pm
The fun night is open to all Club members from lessons and squads and is a chance to have a bit of fun and relax in the pool.
There will be an opportunity to try for a long distance swimming badge in the first hour of the session. If you would like to do this you will need someone that can count your lengths and the badges will cost £2.00
We will need lifeguards so if you can cover some or all of the session please let us know at coaches@seaclosesc.co.uk

On Saturday 3rd December we will be holding a club night at Medina pool.
The club night is free to club members and open to everyone in squads and lessons.
We have the big and small pools from 17.30-19.30. The play mats and toys will be out and it is a chance to have some fun in the pool with the family.

Where: Pizza Express, Newport
Open to all seniors and pre-seniors
I have booked a table at Pizza Express for us to spend some time together outside of the pool, we did this last year and it worked a treat. Come and join us this year!
Remember we are all representing Seaclose Swim Club so we all need to be on our best behaviour. If you think you may struggle with this, please wait until next year. (I will take contact numbers of parents of younger pre seniors, just in case of an issue on the night, as parents will be asked to collect you early if need be).

All club members are invited to a QUIZ NIGHT to be held at West Wight Leisure Centre with the specific aim of raising funds to send our team of swimmers to compete in Jersey this July at the NatWest Island Games.
The Quiz Night will be held on 16th May in the Youth Club Room at West Wight Leisure Centre and your quiz master will be Mr Paul Critchley with questions by Mr Mac Herbert.
Please get together with family and friends and come along with a team of up to 6 players at a cost of £20 per team and have a fun evening with a prize for the winning team. There will also be a small raffle on the night. Refreshments will be available.
